All-round maintenance worker

Aruba Blue Village is a hotel in Aruba Noord. To expand our team we are searching for an all-round maintenance worker.

Are you somebody who knows his way around tools, do you see problems and do you like to solve them? Combine these qualities with a job as all-round maintenance employee at Aruba Blue Village.

​

What will you be doing?

• general maintenance in the apartments and on the park;

• for instance fixing problems with an air-conditioning, painting an apartment, changing light and every other small problem in the park.

 

Who are you?

You are somebody who likes to work with his hands. You take initiative and like to solve problems. You see problems even before they occur, and will talk to your manager how to tackle this. Do we need a specialist then you can explain the problem.

 

Characteristics and abilities:

• hands-on mentality, no problems with doing extra tasks if necessary;

• hospitable and social skills;

• good communicator;

• feels responsible;

• hands-on mentality, no problems with doing extra tasks if necessary;

• speaks Dutch and English. Papiamento and Spanish are a plus.

Contract

• Monday to Saturday from 8.00-16.00 hours. (45 hours per week)

• every other week on call after 16.00 hours when problems occur;

• temporary contract with the intention to make it a indefinite contract;

• trial period 2 months.
